Hollie and Harry’s Windermere Wedding took place at Lakeside Hotel and Spa. It was a very intimate ceremony with just 12 guests. Unfortunately a heavy shower scuppered the plan to hold it outdoors but Lakeside had a stunning room ready just in case.
Following the ceremony was the drinks reception. During this we took the opportunity to get some portraits indoors just in case the weather didn’t clear up. Fortunately our fears were misplaced as the weather just started to brighten up as it was time for a boat trip around Windermere for Hollie, Harry and their guests. We had to deploy umbrellas for the short walk to the jetty. Soon after we were all on board the drizzle stopped, the clouds cleared and out came the sun.
Once back on dry land there was confetti and some more portraits. We did these in Lakeside’s gorgeous grounds and included a little break for Hollie and Harry to feed the ducks. My time with Hollie and Harry then came to a close with their entry for the Wedding Breakfast.
