Charlotte and Rob’s Hause Hall Farm Wedding took place on a lovely but rather windy spring day. Set in Martindale, accessed by a long single lane road from Pooley Bridge, Hause Hall Farm has a very remote and peaceful feel. This quiet corner of the Lake District was the perfect location for Charlotte and Rob’s intimate wedding. The small number of guests, all either close family or friends were staying at the farm too.
I joined Charlotte and Rob in time to capture the build up to the ceremony, following which we took the group photos and then Charlotte and Rob had a chance to mingle with their guests. It was then time to shed our shoes in favour of walking boots for portraits in the nearby hills. We were spoiled with views of mountains and Ullswater to use as backdrops. It was then back to the farm for the wedding breakfast, speeches and cake cutting.
