Borrowdale Wedding – Bryony and Grant

Bryony and Grant’s Borrowdale Wedding was split between two locations. It was Cockermouth Town Hall for the ceremony and the Borrowdale Institute, a village hall in Rosthwaite, for the reception. My day started at another location, Ravenstone Lodge, for Bryony’s preparations.

Grant had hired an E-type Jaguar for the day and used this to drive himself and Bryony from the ceremony to the reception. So we took the scenic route via the Whinlatter Pass for this journey and made a stop for some portraits with the Jaguar. We managed to get Skiddaw in the background of these too.

Bryony had styled a fantastic rustic look for hall. She achieved it in a highly sustainable fashion too, without the use of any plastics. The sequence of events at the hall were a drinks reception, wedding breakfast, group photos and a few more portraits and then to finish, a cèilidh for the evening party.
