Marie and Darren chose a Cote How wedding for their elopement. Set at the end of Rydal Water right in the heart of the Lake District, Cote How is an idyllic venue.
Despite occasional dark clouds, the weather on the day stayed lovely, allowing for an outdoor ceremony in Cote How’s courtyard. Following the ceremony we took portraits in the venue’s lovely gardens and alongside Rydal Water. Then it was a short but steep trek up the fell to Rydal Cave. The cave gave us a very unique backdrop for some amazing portraits. While up there we also made use of the views along the valley and of the surrounding mountains for more photos.
