Tamara and Simon’s Epwell wedding celebration took place last summer. They had made such an effort to get the day exactly how they wanted it to be and made this easier by having the legal ceremony a couple of days before. The vicar of St Anne’s Church in Epwell was fantastic and agreed to host a non religious celebration in his church. This was where the unique touches for the day began. Tamara walked up the aisle to the Star Wars Imperial March, a big surprise for Simon and had everyone it fits of laughter! Music during the celebration then consisted of Tiffany’s I Think We’re Alone Now and The Rembrants I’ll Be There For You (yes, Tamara and Simon are huge Friends fans).
From the church, it was on to Epwell Grounds Barn for the reception. Tamara, Simon and I made our way over there while the guests continued to enjoy champagne at the church so that we could complete their portraits before anyone else arrived. Entertainment during the afternoon consisted of crazy golf and a string quartet. Following the vegan wedding breakfast and speeches it was Ceilidh time. I love a wedding with a Ceilidh, they are always such fun and get just about everyone on the dance floor.
