For Elyse and Allan’s engagement shoot we met up in the pub where they would be having the first part of their wedding reception. After a drink and chat about how the wedding plans were going we headed out into the lovely Hampshire countryside. On our little stroll we found so many great locations for some lovey relaxed portraits.
Most people are at least a little anxious about having their portraits taken on their wedding day. So the engagement shoot is a great way to have a trial run. I have a few tricks to help you relax and be yourselves in front of the camera, letting me get those natural looking portraits. An added benefit is that we also get to know each other better. That way it won’t feel like a stranger turning up to take the photos on your big day.
