Caroline and Paul’s Nonsuch Mansion wedding combined style, sophistication and an awful lot of fun!
My day started with Paul and the guys at the Duke’s Head Hotel, just a few minutes up the road from Nonsuch Mansion. After photographing them getting ready and details such as the wrist and pocket watches that Caroline had given Paul (looks like she wasn’t going to give him any excuse for being late!) we popped out onto the green in front of the hotel for a few relaxed portraits. I then jumped into my car for the short drive to Nonsuch Mansion to catch up with Caroline and her preparations.
The mansion had been beautifully decorated for the wedding, so many gorgeous flowers. The lead up to the ceremony just flew by for me. So many details to photograph and so much action in Nonsuch’s Dressing Room, the girls had started partying from well before Caroline got into her stunning dress.
Following the ceremony, confetti and big group photo, Caroline, Paul and I headed off around the wonderful grounds at Nonsuch for their portraits. There are so many lovely spots in the garden, it was tough to decide which ones to use in the time we had available. It was then on to the wedding breakfast and speeches.
After the first dance and completion of the band’s opening set, there was the evening buffet. This consisted of pizza, freshly baked in the mobile pizzeria that was set up behind the mansion and cheese from the stacked cheese wedding ‘cake’. Then on with much more partying!
