My style of family portraiture is natural and fun. We’ll go out to a lovely location and I’ll take a mix of candid and natural looking posed photos. The children can play and that really helps them to relax in front of the camera.
For this session, I met up with Nicky and her sister Debbie and daughter Ellie at the park by the Thames in Marlow. With all of the leaves on the ground it gave a wonderful autumnal feel to the photos. The leaves also became a great prop, with Ellie really enjoying throwing them up in the air. We also had some bread with us so that we could feed the swans and ducks. The seagulls took rather an interest at that point too. I’m not sure whether they wanted the bread or just wanted to be in the photos!
