What a day! Hannah and Danny’s wedding at the stunning West Tower was a perfect blend of genuine emotion, elegant style, and non-stop fun.
Hannah and Danny had exchanged gifts and cards to be opened by them during their preparations. So my plan for covering the build up to the ceremony made sure that I would be with each of them at the right time to record these emotional moments. Another very emotional moment during the build up followed shortly after as Hannah revealed herself in her dress to her mother and bridesmaids.
After the ceremony, it was time for the portrait session amidst the beautiful grounds of West Tower. Now, like so many of my couples, Hannah and Danny were convinced they were the most awkward couple ever in front of a camera. Honestly, I hear it all the time! But my approach is simple: ditch the stiff poses, relax, and just be yourselves. The magic then happens naturally. Just look at the photos—they absolutely look like film stars!
As we progressed into the evening, the entertainment started with a brilliant magician, who provided not only incredible close-up magic but also some fantastic photo opportunities! The sheer surprise and joy on the guests’ faces were brilliant to capture.
Before we knew it, it was time for the cake cutting and straight into the first dance. Then the evening partying could truly begin. To cap off their incredible day, we took a short break from the celebrations for one final photo. We captured a beautiful night time portrait of Hannah and Danny, in front of their illuminated West Tower venue. It was the perfect, romantic closing shot to an unforgettable wedding set.
