Jess and Laura’s intimate Storrs Hall micro wedding on the shore of Windermere was such a special day. There’s something almost magical about a wedding that strips away the noise and stresses and focuses purely on the couple and their very closest loved ones.
With the sun shining down, this spectacular venue gave us the most perfect setting imaginable. Jess and Laura exchanged their vows in the iconic outdoor gazebo, with the majestic backdrop of the lake and it’s surrounding mountains.
I was with Jess and Laura for around three hours. For a wedding of this size, with such a relaxed pace, it allowed us plenty of time to tick every photographic box without Jess and Laura ever needing to feel rushed or pressured:

- Relaxed Documentary Moments: We wrapped up with some lovely, laid-back photographs of the small group relaxing and enjoying a celebratory drink in the bar—pure, unscripted happiness.
A micro wedding like this proves that you don’t need hundreds of guests or an all-day event for a wedding to be unforgettable. All you need is a gorgeous location, glorious weather, and, most importantly, the person that you want to spend the rest of your life with right beside you.
