Laura and Ben’s Hexham wedding was a truly unforgettable two-day affair, filled with love, laughter, and plenty of dancing!
The first day was an intimate celebration, attended by Laura and Ben’s closest friends and family. The ceremony took place at the historic Hexham House, a picturesque building nestled within Hexham Parks and Gardens, adjacent to the ancient Hexham Abbey.
Following the ceremony, we ventured out into the gorgeous park for group photos. Then while the guests made their way to the elegant Beaumont Hotel for pre-dinner drinks, Laura, Ben, and I took advantage of the stunning park scenery to capture their wedding portraits.
The second day was a lively celebration at Newbrough Town Hall, where a traditional Scottish ceilidh was held. Guests of all ages, from young to old, joined in the fun, learning traditional Scottish dances and celebrating with Laura and Ben. The dance floor was packed all night long!
As a wedding photographer, I absolutely adore ceilidhs. The energy, the music, and the moments that unfold on the dance floor make for incredible photographs.
