Laura and James’ Lake District wedding was a relaxed and intimate celebration. Their day began with the ceremony at Cockermouth Town Hall, in my opinion one of the nicest town halls in Cumbria.
Following the ceremony, the couple and guests made a short stroll to The Castle Bar, a charming venue they had exclusively booked for the drinks reception. This intimate setting provided ample opportunities for capturing candid moments as guests mingled. Laura and James couldn’t resist trying their hand at pulling pints behind the bar, creating a great opportunity for some fun photographs.
As the day progressed, the festivities moved to Lamplugh Village Hall for the wedding breakfast and evening party. Before arriving at the venue, Laura, James, and I took a scenic detour, allowing us to stop at one of their favourite spots in the Lakes for a set of romantic portraits. The picturesque backdrop of the Lake District provided the perfect setting for capturing this lovely couple.
