The weather was gorgeous for Sharon and Mark’s Slaley Hall wedding and meant they could have the outdoor ceremony they had been dreaming of. Not that the indoor option wouldn’t have been wonderful, but there is something rather special about an outside wedding in the sunshine. And there was the added bonus of having the very impressive mansion house as a backdrop for the ceremony photos.
Slaley Hall is a former hunting lodge set in Northumberland’s glorious countryside and is an absolutely stunning wedding venue. For Sharon and Mark’s portraits I felt absolutely spoilt with so many amazing spots in the lovely gardens and grounds.
I’m based in Cumbria and photograph wedding across the whole of the UK. I have a very unobtrusive, documentary style. This means I’ll be taking photographs of all those amazing real moments as they happen. I won’t be interfering or getting in the way and I’ve never told anyone to say ‘cheese’. If you’re planning your wedding and I sound like the type of photographer that you’re looking for, then I’d love to hear from you.
