Charlotte and Chris’s Langdale Chase Hotel wedding was such a special day. They really wanted an outdoor ceremony. The weather forecast had not been looking good but with less than 30 minutes to go and after checking various weather apps and looking out at the surrounding mountains the registrars were happy to take the risk. The string quartet were located under a tree, just in case. In the event we needn’t have worried. The sun managed to break through just before the ceremony and and we were treated to a gorgeous summer afternoon. The rain did eventually arrive but it was long after the group photos and couple portraits had been finished.
Langdale Chase Hotel is located right on the shore of Lake Windermere and is truly a dream wedding venue. Outdoor ceremonies take place in a gazebo with the stunning backdrop of the lake and surrounding mountains. The hotel’s grounds are fabulous and give a wonderful selection of locations for us to use for the group photos and portraits.
