Ella and Prag’s Old Marylebone Town Hall Wedding marked the start of my 2021 wedding season. And what a start! This was such a happy and fun wedding even with the Covid restrictions.
Ella and Prag had been forced to replan and postpone their wedding several times due to the pandemic. So I was really excited for them when day 1 of their celebrations, the civil ceremony was finally confirmed, even if it was on a somewhat smaller scale than originally hoped. Day 2, the Indian ceremony is scheduled for August. I’m keeping everything crossed that Covid doesn’t throw up any more surprises before then!
The civil ceremony took place at Old Marylebone Town Hall after which a Routemaster bus took us all to the reception in Mayfair at the In and Out Naval and Military Club. We had sole use of St James’ Square Garden for couple portraits and some group photos. It was an absolutely gorgeous spring day so we really made the most of that. The In and Out Club was one of a limited number of venues in London able to offer the ability to host Ella and Prag’s reception, with an outdoor courtyard conforming to the Covid safe requirements for a wedding breakfast.
