Lan and Yao’s Danesfield House wedding was one of two that I photographed at this fabulous venue last year. By coincidence, they both took place within one week of each other too. I really love working at Danesfield House. The grounds and gardens are just amazing. There are formal gardens, woodlands, the tree lined driveway and beautiful views across the Thames Valley, all of which make such great backdrops for the portraits. Inside the house all of the rooms are equally stunning.
With the whole of Lan and Yao’s day taking place at Danesfield House, it was fascinating to see the Versailles Suite transition through the day from ceremony room to wedding breakfast hall and finally in the evening to dance floor. Lan and Yao had sparklers and fireworks in the evening and the bouquet toss was included in that phase of the day too. I certainly had great fun photographing this one.
