Charlotte and Niranjan’s fabulous Danesfield House Wedding was definitely one of my highlights of 2017.
I joined Charlotte at her parents’ home in Beaconsfield to photograph her and her bridesmaids getting ready. It started straight away as it was going to be all day long, with lots and lots of laughter. From there it was just a short drive to St Teresa’s Church for the wedding ceremony itself. For their exit from the church, Charlotte and Niranjan had really taken on board my recommendation that there is no such thing as too much confetti! They then travelled by vintage Rolls Royce to the stunning venue for their wedding reception, Danesfield House.
On arrival at Danesfield House, Charlotte, Niranjan and I went for a stroll around the grounds for their wedding portraits. There are so many fabulous locations for the photos there amongst the formal gardens and with amazing views of the River Thames. We made sure we were back from those with plenty of time to let Charlotte and Niranjan mingle with their guests and to complete the group photos before everyone was called for the wedding breakfast. Following the speeches we were treated to an amazing sunset. So we just had to pop out into the gardens again for a silhouette portrait with that sunset as the background. For a closing portrait we waited until it was dark and created a lovely shot amongst the fairy lit trees on the main driveway.
