Often brides wonder if they should have their bridal prep photographed or to not bother. After all, it’s just having your hair and make up done, isn’t it?
As a documentary wedding photographer, I think it’s so much more than that. So many amazing moments can happen during this time as the excitement and anticipation for the day ahead builds. A few emotions with mum and your bridesmaids, maybe a few tears or laughter as you read that card your husband to be has sent over that morning. Then smiles and more laughs as you crack open the Champagne with the girls. And of course, we must not forget the expression on dad’s face as he sees you in your wedding dress for the first time!
