Carolyn and Simon’s Eynsham Hall wedding really lived up to all of my expections. As you’ll see in the photos below, it was a day just filled with laughter!
Eynsham Hall is a lovely country mansion set in gorgeous grounds and gardens not far from Oxford. My day started there with Carolyn’s preparations, popping out a few times to catch up with Simon and the guests as they arrived.
The drizzle that we feared might be set in for the day stopped during the ceremony and allowed us to get the group photos taken as planned and a selection of couple portraits before it returned. The sun did eventually make a late appearance though during the wedding breakfast. By the end of dessert with the sun low in the sky the light was just so gorgeous that we couldn’t miss the opportunity to pop back outside to get a few more portraits prior to coffee being served.
Following the speeches and a few minutes spent taking some evening portraits, it was on to the first dance and the ceilidh to party the night away.
