My 2015 wedding season kicked off in April with two weddings, four engagement shoots and a wedding fayre at one of my favourite venues. I really can’t wait to share some photos from the amazing weddings and engagement shoots with you, but wanted to post some details of the wedding fayre here first.
This year Poundon House‘s spring fayre was titled The Luxury Bridal Experience and it really did live up to it’s name. Laura from Love, Laura Wedding Planning did a fantastic job organising the fayre. There was a very select batch of amazing suppliers exhibiting and plenty for visitors to see, taste and hear. Most of the exhibitors were in the stunning marquee, with a BBQ in the garden, afternoon tea served in the house, a selection of wedding cars lined up on the driveway and a Dohl drummer display too. Several of the exhibitors, including Lilibet Bakes, The Bespoke Florist, Pudding Bridge and The Little Wedding Helper teamed up to style the Poundon dining room which looked just fabulous (see the photos below)!
It’s was lovely to be able to meet so many couples and hear all about their exciting wedding plans and to give some advice and suggestions to those just beginning their wedding planning adventure. It was also great to meet up with some old wedding supplier friends and to make some new ones too.
I’m a recommended supplier at Poundon House and already have three weddings booked there this year. In fact I’m writing this during a short break from editing Clare and Chris’s very intimate, very sophisticated Poundon Wedding. So if you’re planning a Poundon House wedding and looking for a photographer, then I would love to hear from you.
