I picked these three moments as my favourites from Lucy and Lee’s lovely Oxfordshire wedding as they seemed to perfectly capture the mood of the day. It was a day filled with happiness and laughter. Oh yes, there was an awful lot of laughter!
My role as a documentary wedding photographer is to record the story of the day. I really enjoy photographing all those little details such as the table names and wedding favours that you’ve spent your time preparing and also the wedding rings and the beautiful flowers, but at the end of the day I think weddings are really about people and love. That’s why it’s so important to me to capture all those special moments as they happen and to ensure that the feelings and emotions of the day are at the centre of the story that my images tell.
