I was so delighted when Lisa and Chris picked me to be their Wasing Park wedding photographer. This was my second wedding of the year at this stunning venue, which is one of my favourites. Lisa and Chris made full use of the venue with an outdoor civil service at the beautiful summer house, a blessing in the lovely little church and the wedding breakfast and dancing in the fabulous Castle Barn. The wedding also included a steel drum band for musical entertainment between the service and the wedding breakfast.
I started my day at Wasing with a few photos of the venue before meeting up with Lisa to capture her preparations and the wonderful moment as her father saw her for the first time in her wedding dress.
The weather was perfect for the outdoor ceremony. After that it was a very short walk across the grounds to the church for the blessing. We then split the couple portraits into two shorter sessions. One in between the services and dinner and the other after the speeches, which let us make use of the gorgeous summer evening light. This is also avoided Lisa and Chris being kept away from their guests for too long at one time.
I’ll be designing Lisa and Chris’s beautiful Queensberry album this week and I really can’t wait to get started. In the meantime I’ve picked a small selection of my favourite images from the day to share here on the blog. I hope you enjoy them.
