I was very excited when Emma and Tom booked me to be their Wasing Park wedding photographer. Wasing Park really is one of my favourite wedding venues and not just because it’s quite local to me. Located on a private estate with extensive parkland, this private venue boasts it’s own parish church, luxurious accomodation and a beautiful summer house. The summer house is perfect for elegant portrait photography and is licensed for civil ceremonies too. There is also a ceremony barn for indoor services and the impressive Castle Barn for the reception. The accomodation also boast’s one of the nicest (and largest) honeymoon suites that I’ve seen.
We’d only met up for Emma and Tom’s engagement shoot at Highclere Castle a couple of weeks prior to their big day. I’d been keeping my fingers crossed for nice weather ever since, as they were planning an outdoor ceremony if the weather allowed. Fortunately the weather didn’t let us down and we had a fabulous, hot and sunny day.
I certainly had a wonderful time photographing this very special wedding. It was lovely to meet up with Emma and Tom again yesterday. They popped over to view the photos for the first time and to select the images for their Queensberry Wedding Album.
If you’re planning a Wasing Park wedding (or anywhere else in the UK too), you’re looking for a photographer that combines a documentary style with elegant portraiture and you like the photographs here on my website then please do get in touch. I’d love to hear about your plans.
