I really love a London engagement shoot! There are such a variety of locations available for some really stunning portrait photography. Even on a busy summer’s day when the city appears packed with tourists and commuters, there are still plenty of quiet and tucked away spots we can use.
I’ll be photographing Michelle and Jonny’s wedding at the stunning Cain Manor next year. I was last at this lovely Elizabethan manor house located on the Surrey/Hampshire border on New Year’s Eve for Claire and Henry’s wedding. I am really looking forward to going back once again for this one.
Michelle and Jonny asked to have their engagement shoot in central London. I suggested the Southbank, which is one of my favourite areas in London and it turns out it’s one of their’s too. It changes so frequently and there’s always something going on there. I hadn’t seen Michelle and Jonny since we first met back in February, so it was lovely to meet up again and catch up on their plans.
These shoots are also an opportunity for us to get to know each other a bit better and as I’m sure you’ll agree from the small selection below, a chance to get some great photographs too.
I include a complimentary engagement shoot for all of my wedding clients. If you’ve already booked a wedding photographer who doesn’t include an engagement shoot, or maybe you haven’t set a date but would like a shoot to celebrate your engagement, then I’d love to get you booked in for a session. Please do get in touch.
I photograph weddings across the whole of the UK in an unobtrusive documentary style. If you are looking for a photographer for your wedding and like what you’ve seen here on my blog, then please do get in touch. I’d love to hear all about your plans.
