Notley Abbey Wedding Photographer
Sarah and Chris got married at Notley Abbey in February. In the days leading up to the wedding, the weather felt like it had been coming directly from the arctic. It certainly seemed as though snow was going to be likely. However Sarah and Chris must be blessed with incredible luck. The weather broke that morning and although rather chilly, we had bright sun and blue skies for most of the day.
Notley is right up there amongst my favourite venues. The grounds are just beautiful, with so many great locations for wedding images that I feel rather spoiled for choice there. The venue also owns a vintage custom Bentley which is available for photographs. In fact, the couple are allowed to drive it on their wedding day. Sarah and Chris hadn’t realised this, so I was very pleased to break this piece of news to Chris. He certainly then made full use of the lovely old car, driving Sarah between the locations that we used for their portrait photographs.
The whole day went without a hitch, mostly due to Sarah’s incredible planning and then being aided by the always helpful and incredibly capable Bijou Weddings staff.
If you love these photos, are getting married soon and are looking for a documentary wedding photographer with a very unobtrusive style, then I’d love to hear from you.
I photograph weddings in Berkshire, Surrey, Hampshire, Buckinghamshire and across the UK. If you’re getting married and looking for a photographer, then do get in touch. I’d love to hear your plans.
