My day for Marina and Larry’s Easthampstead Park Wedding started with just a 10 minute drive from home to Easthamstead Park. There I met up with Marina and her bridesmaids to photograph their preparations. As the wedding breakfast room was already fully arranged, I took the opportunity during this time to record all of the many little details and decorations that Marina and Larry had spent so much time and effort on.
It was then a quick hop in the car over to the church in time to get a few portraits of Larry and his best man before the ceremony. Marina arrived there in style in a gorgeous old Rolls Royce. Following the service, a few group photos and the confetti we all headed back to Easthampstead Park for the reception. On arrival the guests were treated to a glass of bubbly and a pop corn and candy floss cart was on hand for those in need of a little snack.
I felt quite spoiled for choice with locations for Marina and Larry’s portraits. We split those into 2 sessions, before and after the wedding breakfast. This allowed us to use the gorgeous late afternoon light and then also catch the golden light leading up to sunset. That approach also had the advantage that Marina and Larry didn’t need to be away from their guests for too long at a time.
